Art: Interpretation of a Painful Past

Today the exhibition 'Who More Sci-Fi Than Us, contemporary art from the Cariben’ will be launched: it has a strong postcolonial theme, which, strongly appeals to me because of my academic past.

Marcos Lora Read, 'Sub-Mundo Caribeño':

Holland has had a painful past of exploitation some people are happy to forget or underscore. Hence, I'm curious of how this exhibiton will represent it's past.

I won't be attending today because openings tends to be extra busy, and the weather is quite too lovely to be locked up in a museum, but I'll visit soon.
