Forest (G) Trousers

I really got a thing for Palazzo pants in the summer.

My previous outfitted section is not what I normally wear. I'm not some AnnaDellaRusso-meets-Pippi-Longstocking on skates or otherwise. I just like to wear simple basics such as silk blouses with a toned-down bottom for work.

Another one: added a teal-suede jacket for when the weather gets chillier:

That look is slightly more tomboy.

I kind of named them my Forest Gump palazzos. I really covet that whole story of that a good but stupid man gets so intensely lucky all the time without realising or trying. He just wants to be with his beloved Jenny. I think it's somewhat inspired by Kozinsky's Being There.

As for the print, I like that it reminds me of the Dries Van Noten SS 2012 Tote:

But I already bought the trousers before I knew it was quite similar to DvN's bag.
