Dancin' with Bikes

Jacket: Zara (here)][ Dress: Bijenkorf (similar) ][ Bag: Michelle Franz][ Booties: Zara (similar) ][ Bowler Hat: Korean  (similar)

For the lack of wolves in this country I went for the theme Dancing with Bikes. Bikes, because I want to get around the stereotype that all Dutch people are natural blondes (although I fake brunette-intellectuality as I'm slightly lighter haired). A stereotype that actually is true is that most of us have bikes. Dressing for bikes needs some thought beforehand too, especially when colder.

Winter dresses! They are a variety slightly more difficult than the summer ones. Basically because the tights and the layers come in and you want your dress to have a winterproof quality. I've been a Uni-exchange student in the UK, so I know some British women would venture outside without tights in winter. My exchange student mates and I were completely shocked for them dressing up like it was mid-summer Ibiza in freezin' cold December...yeh, culture shock even exist within Europe.

(ps: my left heel spike pierced some fresh fallen leaves for that autumn-like quality; Or, don't go hicking in these)

  2. At last, an outfit post!! That's a gorgeous blazer, and I love that you paired it with a color, instead of the conventional black/grey. This look is very Parisian chic, I love it! I could have easily spotted you in Paris, and love your poses with the hat. Love the witty post title as well :)
