Ghost of Autumn

Kimono: Princesstoady | Boots: tremendously antique (similar ones) | Maxiskirt: H&M | Double buckle belt: Similar | lace top: Topshop (similar) | earrings: LuxDivine | bracelet: Monica Vinader | bracelet: LuxDivine | Lipstick: Chanel Rouge Allure Coromandel | headband: & Other Stories

I picked up my bohemian ensemble and the photos turned out to be kinda ghost-esque: it must have been the lack of self-tan and my lighter hair. Anyhow, I have been inspired by gypsies, the illustration of this wonderful Mexican blogger Little Moon Lover, and Dia de Los Muertos.

Hence, my photos combine the balance between life and beauty and how it is shadowed by sadness and the ghost of death: perhaps the perfect theme for the spirit of Autumn...

  1. These pictures are amazing! Of course I know that illustration (Little Moon Lover), I'm so happy that you took mexican art as an inspiration for your outfit post. The last picture is one of your bests on your blog for me!
