Since the 1970s are becoming fashionable again, I could not think of a better idea to match some newer dresses with some of the older Blythe dolls.

Cuban Wedding

In this week of romanticism I'd like to share these beautiful newlyweds that wandered around the streets of Havana

 

The bride opted for a strapless dress decorated with pearls with long gloves, a gorgeous collier with matching earrings, a smaller tiara around the bun in her hair, and a beautiful bouquet of peach-toned flowers. I also like the tattoo in the shape of the sun on the left side her cleavage.

The groom accessorised with a bottle of water, which was handy for the 25 °C temperature of that day. Actually I like how he adjusted his vest to the bride's dress with the brocade texture.

Butterfly

I got a reasonable stash of dresss and I found this Butterfly by Matthew Williamson  1920s-inspired dress while rummaging in some boxes.  

(I think I bought this one in 2007)

I don't reach often for a LBD but the amount of sparkles and crêpe texture makes it reminiscent of the Flapper era, therefore a cute little number for warm summer nights.

It's the type of dress they might wear in  The Great Gatsby. I loved that book so much so I am really looking forward if the film will have a similar aura. I like the pick of actors, though.
