Best of Sales

There are some really good sales going on. And what I noticed that the best-known aren't always the best ones: or sometimes they're good but the items are sold out in a nanosecond. So spare me a moment and let's check out some really good sales you might not have heard of (until now).

The Corner is having some excellent brands on sale for 40%, and you can even have another 15% off with code SUMMER15. I personally love this Equipment Blouse (1) and the Ancient Greek Sandals (4)  120,00   74,00 -15%= €63!. But they also feature Proenza Shouler & kaftantastic Athena Procopiou. Keeping an eye on Greek designers: this dress certainly has a stamp on it and fashionfans will recognize Katzantrou's (2) design in an instant. Now half price on Matchesfashion.com. I featured these Gianvito Rossi Hologram pumps twice in my sets: Now they're half price too but only one size left...

From brights to the more classic monochromes: I love this & Other Stories Dress (4) that pair beautifully with a pair of black suede pumps (7) with a quirky heel detail. I have them in tan and they're really comfy so I probably will get these blacks too. And Chloe, ohhhh Chloe! Harrods.com is having this dove-grey Elsie crossbody (6) on from £840.00  £499.00. So tempting! If I can hold out until this weekend there will be an extra 10% off for members, but it might be gone then so I'm not sure...

Rad Reds! This bag (8)  €75 €53 looks a bit like a woman's tush but that makes it fun for wearing around. These Fendi heels (9) €480 €288 will look dazzling at your holiday destination. They also have various Isabel Marant's on sale. And to conclude: Frenchsole is a favourite among sensible but elegant footwear that will walk you through the whole citytrip. These more modern Perplex version (10) are on sale but they also have these two-toned elegant version you see Olivia Palermo wearing £95 £48.
Happy shopping...

Destination Sunny: Ibiza

Less bikinis and more sequins. More is definitely more on Ibiza.

You will be needing your Sin Tshirt to spell it out! The A-morir Shades to give some extra blinding against the oh so brutal sun after a night of party. The sequins bumbag is to get extra kitch, because Kitch is the new Chic. And you could not be bothered with holding any purse so at least the money/keys/lipstick were strapped against your body.

Superbright Lipstick? Nars Schiap is there! A bodycon, sequinned, multicoloured dress because Ibiza is no place for wallflowers. A couple of sequinned harems, because they are called Pacha already so you might get a discount on that superexpensive entry ticket.
Ah sun? Right...Good you packed your Running Horses Bikini. You only wear espadrilles when they have Kate's face on it! Gianvito Rossi hologram shoes because they are chic enough for a fancier dinner and perfect for clubbing too...

Ps: What destination are you really visiting this year?

Holo-battle of high-octane shoes

Holograms seems to be the latest hot property of the fashionworld. Let me introduce budget-versus-blowout:

The cheap variety is on the left from Forever 21 and an affordable €23,75 (here). The right pair is a serious upstage from Gianvito Rossi for €426 (here, not the ones with transparant sides, btw).

Ps: I get into a slight state of childhood with holograms. It's not Starwars or Startrek but actually the sugary flow of comics with cute & dynamic heroines such as Jen and the Holograms that gotten me hologramic!

The pre-SpongeBob era!...I think Ren & Stimpy were the 1990s version of SpongeBob sarcastic realism. However, before that there were lots of Cartoon heros & heroines hologramming or superheroing around.
(sorry, it was about shoes today)
