I gotten into the thing that gotten my blog on the radar: bizarre-ish photography and quirky outfits. This time for a reason as I love graffiti and I wanted to match its alluring brightness/madness. Skippy-balling is probably the uncoolest thing on a skate-ramp but no soul was present on this -visibly- rainy morning.

Sometimes I complain about not having a photographer but I actually like the randomness of self-photography. It a semi post-Modern Warholian photoboot-experience. In the smaller, bouncing photo I exactly reached the height of the man's mouth, making me some weird orange snack...That's timing!

Fashion you wouldn't see me wearing in this lifetime, however, fun to see on others.

London compilation I

I wanted to go back to London in this specific time of the year before the Olympic games will be launched. I visited some new places I was wondering about how they would look (and all the other five senses) in real life.

1. The way to London I went with a more expensive airline, only for a cheaper fare. I arrived quite close to the city of London and, GASP, free breakfast! When you are used to the cheap airlines you have to pay for every extra. Anyway, the public was a bit snobbier this flight.

2. Hackney view from hotel: I actually booked a room at Universityrooms here but nobody in Hackney knew I was talking about. It wasn't an expensive room (€34) but it kinda sucks when you loose that money and probably have to pay a lot more because you haven't compared rates/booked in advance. I had to look for another one in a city that has the Olympics on (and later I found out the London Pride as well). But eventually it wasn't too pricy for it's service and view.

3. So many streetart projects in London! I made tons of photos and only put on a tiny bit on instagram. There will be more!

4. The Olympics in Advertisements: I don't know this particular athlete but  This is Paul Gascoigne: he is licking his lips over here (not really visible, I will put up some bigger photos soon),

5. Another lazy hammock-er! I'm not the only one who launches around when something active is going on...but if the music is mellow...

6. Yeh, finally to London Chinatown for the first time after my 10th (?) visit of London! Such an inspiring place.

7. The LBGT (I hope I get the right order on these letters) London Pride: Rainbow balloons. This is in that musical area: I'm not really into musicals; too much going on. I either prefer theatre alone (without singing) or a concert.

8. Gorgeous Rihanna advertisement for Vita Coco Coconut water. That stuff is too expensive over here and in London about half cheaper. I like that drink, though and it supposed to be massively healthy.

9. As I said, back with the cheapies with the not-so-snobby public: I had an apple for dinner I brought myself :-)

This must probably the most passive pic I ever put online, but I'm a lazy peoplewatcher if there are couches or hammocks around...I actually prefer the graffiti over myself in the photo, but the contrast of the black/white and the trousers were kinda cool, so don't mind me  being in that super pair of jeans

(new jeans ♥ AG: they actually stay tight and they don't give buildersbehind-booty that some skinnies can give).

I was wearing these AG Adriano Goldschmieds Ikat jeans this weekend on another short but invigorating visit to London. There was a LGTB festival, London Pride, going on so there were even more fashionable people to watch than usual: I saw a lot of pointed brogues in all kinds of colours on men. Women are looking fashionable too in Isabel Marant-like clothing, although I couldn't tell from most of them if they fancy other women just because they walk together or wear tomboy-chic, it has gotten more mainstream these days.

I am pro-love so everyone who likes another that doesn't fall in the hetero-normative structure should be able to show their affection. I mean, who cares if a man doesn't fancy women or a woman doesn't care for men, or a person just likes long legs whether they are hairy or shaved...Perhaps some women would prefer their collection of shoes over any man if they had to choose. After all, what is normal these days?

I had this urban look in the beginning of this week before the heatwave struck Holland. It's somewhat less ladylike and is actually reminds me of last year's sporty vibe but it's a fun look for a day off. I kept the monochrome/sporty palette interesting and print-y (& SS 2012) by adding my Topshop lettered skinnies I got on sale this winter. I think you can DIY a jeans with your own lettering & doodling on jeans with a textile pen for a similar, but more personalised effect, eg like this Isabel Marant-lookalike here.

The black, suede, lasercut jacket is also Topshop from last year's summer collection. 2011 had a lot of back-detail jackets going on, "the fetish", whereas this year is all about "the lady"-> such contrast, good I'm not the only person schizo about fashion.

I got something with grammar and words: it probably has to do with having studied Literature at Uni. So, I got something slightly cheeky spelled out too...

I love streetart! Perhaps even more than any other artform. The artist often works on a clandistine level with a limited amount of time (often illegal) and with a canvas that are the elements of the street and the city itself.

These were taken by Marcaomoraes in Sao Paolo, Brazil. I notice that Brazilian streetartists have slightly different themes than Australian streetartist...Often, the women are featured more and differently...
