Earcuff chic

Wow, this has been one of the quirky/cute items I really liked a lot this year. Especially Cara's Met-ball version:

However, I do not want to go too punk (read: age-inappropriate )-> Solution, a daintier rose-gold version in a hammered quality I got from etsy (here).
(Wonderful for women who were embryos/toddlers when real punk had its moment or girls who like a softer spin on the trend)

New in: Bohemian Danglies

Sometimes I am all about new trends, and sometimes I take my own path.

For example, Luxe Bohemian jewellery: there's something earthily decadent about a couple of dangling earrings that grace the neck.

These earrings are not simply beautiful, the agate stone is said to "attract strenght and give energy".

I bought these at LuxeDivine

Polished Pinks

*Not all pinks are alike*

Pinks are not that easy to mix-n-match like the greys, blues or reds. But if you like some colour-clashing, try some uncoordinating combination of various pinks ◕‿◕

Destination Sunny: The Backpacker

1. Sequinned Croptop |  2. Isabel Marant reversable!! bikini | 3. Earcuff | 4. Dragon sweatshirt | 5. African print trousers | 6. Anti-Diarrhea | 7. Stella for Adidas Sneakers | 8. Backpack (not the official but the romantic one) | 9.  packs of clean undies | 10. Free People Boots

Most of my 'Destination Sunny' set are about fantasies: the backpacker traveller probably sounds easier and more approachable than the Glam St. Tropez woman. However, I wouldn't last that long if I wouldn't have my daily clean clothes and underwear. Still, I would love to feel free enough to hitchhike with my essentials in a sack, travelling from one spot to another, without planning...

So, I gotten fantastical and not so practical by adding that sequinned croptop (1) and those amazing boots (10). However, not loosing reality and slightly facing my fear of having diarrhea in not-to-fancy hostels, quelle horreur!-> no 6!... And the undies? I love my fancy lingerie but practicality probably will have to guide me into those cheek-covering ones instead of the sensual thongs, and black is more forgiving when you really cannot change every day (again, quelle horreur!).

So, have you been backpacking and how's reality?
 (curious)

GGGhetto

Fashion you wouldn't see me wearing in this lifetime, however, fun to see on others.

(University has gotten me slightly political correct and hesitant to use the term Ghetto Chic. Hence, I'll compensate by linking to this article *here* for a bit more info on the term and it's slightly incorrect value)

New In: Porcupine

I have been slightly intrigued by Pamela Love's porcupine necklace/earring collection of F/W 2011.

I have been less interested in Pamela Love's prices, which made me search on etsy for a similar character pair of earrings.

ph Mine
Obviously, I found a beautiful pair for a better price. Not the total lookalikes, but a pair with a tribal and earthy character. They also sell them in neon yellow/pink necklace shape:

I almost want to post a disclaimer that I haven't been promoted to mention this seller, and that it's my own purchase venture, but that is obvious if you look at the size and amount of followers of my blog. : )
